VIBOS introduced as a social business platform to connect entrepreneurs and industry leaders
VIBOS was officially launched on Sunday at a special event in Ahmedabad, marking a new initiative focused on business networking and entrepreneurial collaboration. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the platform during a ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
Developed by the Vishwa Umiya Foundation, VIBOS-short for Vishwa Umiya Dham International Business Organization and Social Network-has been introduced as a platform designed to bring entrepreneurs, business professionals, and industry leaders together. According to the organizers, it is intended to serve as India’s first social business platform that combines professional networking with community-driven values.
Platform Designed to Encourage Business Growth and Collaboration
The primary objective of VIBOS is to create an ecosystem where entrepreneurs can establish meaningful business connections, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities for growth. Rather than functioning as a conventional business directory, the platform is intended to encourage long-term professional relationships and strategic partnerships.
Organizers said members will have opportunities to expand their professional networks, receive business referrals, connect with experienced industry leaders, and gain access to leadership development and learning opportunities. The initiative also aims to help businesses explore global markets through collaboration with entrepreneurs from different regions and industries.
By bringing together experienced business leaders and emerging entrepreneurs, the platform seeks to promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and sustainable business development.
Vishwa Umiya Foundation Expands Its Business and Social Initiatives
The launch of VIBOS is part of the broader vision of the Vishwa Umiya Foundation, an organization that has been involved in community development and social initiatives in India and abroad.
According to the foundation, it currently operates in more than seven countries under the leadership of its president, R. P. Patel. Alongside its social activities, the organization is developing a large integrated campus in Ahmedabad spread across approximately 60 acres.
The foundation says the campus will include a 504-foot Shiv-Shakti temple, a skill university, and a hospital. Organizers added that the project has received community contributions totaling around ₹2,000 crore. The broader objective is to support education, skill development, healthcare, and the empowerment of young people and women within the community.
Seven Guiding Principles of VIBOS
The newly launched VIBOS platform will operate around seven core principles that define its vision for business and leadership:
Build Trust
Create Value
Grow Together
Lead with Integrity
Collaborate Strategically
Think Globally
Leave a Legacy
According to the organizers, these principles are intended to encourage ethical leadership, responsible entrepreneurship, and collaborative business practices.
Focus on Ethical Entrepreneurship
With the launch of VIBOS, the Vishwa Umiya Foundation hopes to create a business community that balances commercial growth with social responsibility. The platform is expected to provide entrepreneurs with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and learn while promoting trust and long-term value creation.
The initiative reflects a growing emphasis on structured business networking in Gujarat, a state widely recognized for its entrepreneurial ecosystem. By combining business development with community engagement, VIBOS aims to offer a unique platform for professionals seeking both economic growth and meaningful collaboration.
