Surat, Gujarat: Gym Trainer’s Dirty Deed: In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves across the city, a shocking incident involving a gym trainer has come to light. According to police officials, the incident revolves around a Surat-based businessman whose wife had been attending a gym in the Citylight area nearly seven years ago. During that time, the accused, identified as 42-year-old gym trainer Shabbir Ajgar Tunkwala, allegedly used his position to build a close relationship with the woman under the pretext of fitness training and regular gym activities.

Investigations reveal that the trainer gradually befriended the woman and allegedly lured her into an emotional relationship. Over time, he reportedly took personal photographs with her. The situation took a serious turn when the accused allegedly began threatening to make these photos public in order to defame her socially.

When the businessman became aware of the situation, he confronted the trainer. However, instead of resolving the matter, the accused allegedly demanded ₹5 lakh, threatening to circulate the photos and videos if his demands were not met. Fearing social stigma and damage to family reputation, the victim initially paid ₹50,000 to the accused.

Despite the payment, the threats reportedly continued, prompting the businessman to approach the police for help. Acting swiftly, the Surat Special Operations Group (SOG) registered a complaint and launched an investigation into the matter.

Police officials confirmed that the accused was arrested from the Sagrampura area. Authorities stated that strict action has been initiated, and further investigation is underway to uncover if there are more victims or similar incidents linked to the accused.

Notably, just days before this case surfaced, Surat SOG had conducted a meeting with gym owners across the city, issuing a stern warning against any misconduct involving women members. Officials had made it clear that any complaints of inappropriate behavior during training sessions would lead to strict legal consequences.

This Gym trainer’s dirty deed has once again highlighted the importance of safety and vigilance in public spaces like gyms. Police have urged citizens to report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior immediately to prevent such incidents in the future.
