Dosa death Ahmedabad Case: The mysterious Dosa death Ahmedabad Case has taken a dramatic turn after forensic findings revealed the presence of aluminium phosphide in the blood samples of the children’s parents. The case, which began with the sudden deaths of two young girls in Ahmedabad’s Chandkheda area, has now raised serious questions and deepened the ongoing investigation.
According to officials, the tragic incident involved two minor sisters, Raha and Mishri, who reportedly fell ill after consuming dosa batter at their home. Shortly after the incident, both children died under suspicious circumstances, while their parents, Vimal Prajapati and Bhavna Prajapati, also became severely unwell and had to be rushed to a private hospital for treatment.
Following their admission, hospital authorities collected blood samples from both parents. These samples were later sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for detailed analysis. Sources familiar with the investigation revealed that the laboratory report detected traces of aluminium phosphide-a highly toxic pesticide-in the blood samples of the parents.
Investigators are now examining whether the same substance was present in the bodies of the two deceased children. Forensic teams are continuing their analysis to confirm if aluminium phosphide played a role in the deaths. Police sources also disclosed that a few days before the incident, the children’s father had reportedly purchased a pesticide used to protect stored wheat from pests, which typically contains aluminium phosphide.
The discovery has prompted police to broaden the scope of their investigation. Authorities are now exploring multiple possibilities, including whether the incident was the result of accidental poisoning, suicide, or even a potential homicide. Officials believe it is unlikely that simply eating dosa batter could lead to such severe consequences, including the deaths of two children and the hospitalization of both parents.
As part of the investigation, forensic experts recently exhumed the body of three-month-old Raha on April 7 in the presence of FSL officials. The infant had originally been buried by the family after her death on April 4. The exhumation was conducted to carry out a detailed post-mortem examination and collect additional evidence.
With new forensic findings emerging, the Dosa death Ahmedabad Case continues to puzzle investigators, and authorities say the final conclusions will depend on the results of the ongoing forensic analysis and police inquiry.
